According to Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) https://www.shra.org/emergency-bridge-housing-2/, t
he Emergency Bridge Housing at the Grove officially opened its doors on June 10, 2020. This facility features 24 double-occupancy sleeping cabins designed to accommodate homeless youth between the ages of 18 and 24. The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) is responsible for overseeing the shelter's operations, while First Step Communities manages the day-to-day activities on-site. In addition to providing a safe and secure environment, the staff at the shelter actively engage with the youth and coordinate comprehensive wrap-around services aimed at helping them transition into permanent, stable housing.
