Medi-Cal beneficiaries can receive substance use disorder services through Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services’ Alcohol and Drug Services programs. Services include outpatient treatment, detoxification/withdrawal management, residential treatment, sober living environments, and specialty court/drug diversion programs.

Individuals with private insurance may be required to obtain an authorization to access services, and their plans may cover additional organizations and/or programs through their plan's behavioral health service coverage. Members should contact the members service number on the back of their insurance card for additional information.
